Not all houses for sale in a local area are included in every website listing. It therefore pays to have a look through the results of a few different sites. Your dream home might not be listed on more than one portal so you might miss out on it if you don’t shop around.

Some properties, however, are listed on more than one portal. This is particularly the case when the seller is having trouble finding a buyer. If you find a property that is listed on several portals, you might find that you can make a low offer and scoop the property at a discount.
